The Magic and Mysteries of Orbs - for Kindred Spirit

Rennes-le-Châteauu is a little hilltop village located in the foothills of the French Pyrenees, 50 kilometres south of Carcassonne. Hundreds of books have been written about this place, among them bestsellers like The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail and the Da Vinci Code. It is a place full of legends, treasures, magic and mysteries. And full of Orbs.

 I live in Rennes-le-Château, in the domain Les Labadous, in the valley south of the village. A beautiful place along the River of Colours, where I took most of my pictures.

I got my first Orbs at the start of the New Millennium, using an analogue camera. Since then I have photographed thousands of Orbs. With various, digital camera’s.

First the multicoloured Orbs and the opaque, white Orbs. The traditional Orbs. Next came the shooters and Orbs with ‘afterburners’. Then Orbs in rods appeared. Straight rods and rounded rods. And green wires with curious shapes. Next I got Orbs with holes in them, looking like faces, or with segments missing. And violet clouds. Then red Giants came and huge Orbs, carrying tremendous energy. Followed by blots, dancing around the light. And bright entities rising up from the ground. Then bright blots appeared, looking like UFO’s, or like fairies. Next came the clouds. Huge white clouds, swirling around me. Consisting of hundreds of Orbs. Later white clouds appeared, taking on different shapes, like vortexes or animals. And etheric clouds. Finally the Orbs showed themselves in special configurations. Or as strokes of light and curious patterns in the night sky. Obviously carrying a message.

I don’t know if all the luminosities mentioned above are real Orbs. Some of them might be camera defects or other light phenomena. It is hard to distinguish.

What are Orbs?

“Orb” is an existing, English word, meaning light bulb, light circle, or light ball. Orbs are not flat but are shaped like a soccer ball or grapefruit. The Orbs are ‘visible’ in the infrared light spectre.

Sometimes “Orbs” is written “ORBS”.  Which could stand for Other Reality Light Beings.

Orbs appear as circles of white, or multicoloured light on our digital cameras. Not on every camera, not to every person and not at every location. But they appear more and more often, all over the world.  Especially when using cheap cameras with built-in flashlight. Cameras with good infrared capabilities. More expensive cameras often have ‘hot’ filters, blocking out the infrared light.

We don’t know what Orbs are. Nobody knows. But there are many theories. Varying from the souls of people who passed away, to extraterrestrials. And from Spirits to high frequency energies.

We do however know quite a lot about Orbs. We know that they are “living” in the infrared spectrum of light. We know that they are intelligent, that they are often visible in flashlight and that they seem to like rain or humid conditions. We also know that they love ceremonies, places where people enjoy themselves, children and animals.

The critics

Many professional photographers, sceptical about anything that is not “normal” and people who are afraid of things they can’t explain, will tell you that the Orbs are caused by reflections of particles in the air. Dust, rain, insects, mist, smoke, you name it. But that is unlikely. If you try to get Orbs by throwing dust in the air, you will be disappointed. There will be no Orbs.

Others say that the Orbs are raindrops on the lens. That could be, for some look like Orbs. But when the same ‘Orbs’ appear in the next picture in exactly the same position, you will know that they are raindrops. Besides falling rain does not look like Orbs, but like thin white stripes. And the same goes for fog. How can those small moisture particles all be shaped like Orbs? And how can snowflakes take on the shape of a heart. Especially a heart with a red lining?

Sometimes they blame the Orb appearances on malfunctions of the camera or on photographing into the light. And indeed, you can get wonderful pictures that way, but they are not Orbs. Again, it is easy to check.  When you repeat the process and get roughly the same results, you know that the pictures are the result of photographic effects or malfunctions of the camera. This never happens with Orbs. Every single picture will be different.

When do they appear?

It is a little too easy to say that they appear when you least expect it. But it is true that they often appear suddenly, out of the blue.

Their appearance is not solely dependent on the use of flashlight, as many think. Without flash you can also get good Orb pictures. It seems however that the Orbs like the flash. Some say that they absorb their energy after which a transformation takes place inside the Orbs. Then, milliseconds later, they send back photons (light beams) of a different frequency. A phenomenon called ‘fluorescence.’ That would explain why in some pictures six or seven sided dots appear. Showing the shape of the shutter in the process of closing down.

Not everyone thinks so. Some say that the Orbs do reflect the light of the flash. And concentrate their energy in such a way that the flash can reflect off them. That they make a conscious effort to pull their energy in tight. Like we do when we say “cheese” to the camera.

The Orbs love rain or humid conditions like mist, snow and fog. They can often be found near water. At sea, or in seaside resorts. Near rivers, lakes, springs and sources. There are different explanations for their love of water. Some say that rain causes the atmosphere to be ionized. Creating free electrons in the air, causing the Orbs to fluorescence. Others say that the Orbs are thirsty. And that ‘drinking’ water makes them healthy.

A thunderstorm seems to be the ideal moment for the Orbs to appear. I don’t know why. Probably a combination of rain, wind, lightning and electricity in the air. The Orbs just love it!

They like electricity. And maybe they have the ‘power' to manipulate electricity. Switching off lamps, TV screens, computers and mobile phones. Or preventing the camera from taking pictures, or from using the flash.

Where do they appear?

Well, that is easy to say. They appear everywhere. All over the world. Their appearance is not limited to places like graveyards or other, eerie places. On the contrary. You will hardly find them there. They will sooner be in your backyard, than in a graveyard.  They do however prefer certain places.

Sacred places or ancient places. Like Machu Picchu in Peru, where people are waiting to enter the sanctuary.

Or churches, chapels and basilicas. I often saw ‘protective’ signs at the entrance of a church or at places with Black Madonna’s. Places that have known great joy and great sorrow. Places where prayers went up in the sky. Strong wishes. So strong that they might have the power to create what they asked for.

Orbs like places with powerful energies, energies emanating from the energy grid of the earth. Or places where Ley Lines cross, like in Glastonbury.

Orbs are plentiful in places of joy. During carnival or when music is playing. At Pop and Rock concerts. Places where people have a good time. On the street, in restaurants and in nightclubs.

Orbs like to be present at special ceremonies. Baptism and wedding ceremonies. Initiation ceremonies.

Sometimes they appear when you ask for them. Asking, not ordering. And asking in a friendly way.

And last but not least, Orbs often appear at places where crop circles and UFO’s are sighted. Some of the pictures I took, at night and in broad daylight, could very well be UFO’s. But that can be no surprise, for this area, close to Mount Bugarach, is famous for it UFO’s.

7.  Are they intelligent?

Let us first ask ourselves “what is intelligence?” Do they communicate with us, do they like certain things and dislike others, and do they listen to us? Do they have a sense of humour? Do they have a will of their own? Do they think? Do they act? Do they guide us, protect us and even heal us? Do they want to present themselves to one person and not to another? Do they carry messages? In their shape, in their Mandela’s, or in their faces?

Do they present themselves in special formations? Do they attach themselves to certain persons? Do they appear in special places?  And on special occasions?

Well, the answer to all these questions is ‘yes’. Yes they are, and yes they do.

Orbs love babies, young children and animals. My dog Macho, who recently passed away, always had Orbs with him.

Orbs tend to be present at special occasions. Take this single Orb attached to the head of one of my friends in the church ofRennes-le-Château. Where he had just been married. And how about this single Orb on the wooden pane, looking down at the lovingly laid out table. Our Christmas dinner. This Orb clearly wanted to join the party.

Several writers have observed that Orbs often appear at conferences, seminars and presentations, especially when Orb and Crop Circle phenomena are discussed. And that they tend to show themselves at the lectures where they agree with the speaker and stay away from those where they don’t.

Orbs also like to attach themselves to special persons.  Maybe they are past-human Orbs, visiting their loved ones.  Or nature Orbs on a special mission. Maybe they just want to show their affection. And maybe they are Sparks, Orbs know for their incredible healing capabilities.

Are they communicating?

Sometimes the Orbs get real close to people. As if they want to tell them something or kiss them. Like in this picture taken in Austria where I attended a sound-healing seminar. You can see the Orb really opening up and kissing my friend. Something I never saw before. 

Orbs do not reveal themselves to people who are afraid. Interesting. If they do sense fear, as I believe they do, would they then also be able to sense love? Well, I think they do!

It is amazing how many heart-shaped pictures I took at Les Labadous. Especially when it snowed. One picture might be a coincidence, but not dozens of them.  And certainly not pictures with shining hearts. Or hearts situated close to the tree with the shape of Mary Magdalene in her bark.

Do they have a message?

I am convinced that the Orbs carry a message. In their shape, their colour, their pattern, their positioning. In making themselves visible to some and not to others. I am convinced that they want to communicate with us.  And that they are here for a reason. That they have important news for us and for mankind. Messages that we cannot yet understand.

They may be messages of love and hope. Messages on how to survive. Messages on how to get free energy from the Torus fields of the Earth and our galaxy. Torus fields are circular or doughnut shaped energy fields, like the Earth Magnetic Field. . See the documentary ‘Thrive: What on Earth Will it Take?’ Or maybe they want to tell us that there are other worlds besides our ‘own’.  And that we are not alone and can ask for help.

Isn’t it exciting that we are now witnessing so many appearances of Orbs, Crop Circles and UFO’s all over the world? So frequently that they can no longer be ignored. Could it be that our world needs waking up?

We don’t know what messages UFO’s, Crop Circles or Orbs carry. But it must be clear, even for the most ardent non-believers, that they carry a message. Look at the positioning of the Orbs. And the designs of Crop Circles. Don’t they look exactly like the Flower of Life, or like Torus fields?

Where spirituality meets technology

We are, in our time, witnessing some of the most incredible phenomena. Highly spiritual phenomena. Like the reading of Chakra fields. Or being able to create things with our mind.  Or communicating with the Spirit World. And healing people with our mind and hands. But also highly technical phenomena. Like quantum physics, manipulation of DNA strings, space travel, bio-photon technology, nanotechnology, vortexes, torsion fields and science fiction movies that soon may become reality.

And the most interesting thing is that these two phenomena are converging. Spirituality and technology. They might, ultimately, even be the same!

A good example of the close relationship between spirituality and technology can be found in books like: “Anna, the grandmother of Jesus” by Claire Heartsong, where the sudden appearances of Jesus remind us of the “energize” processes in future spaceships. Or in the famous Anastasia books, where children were able to destroy nuclear missiles with their thoughts, or with the help of tiny microorganisms.

When we look at the Orbs, we see the same. Are they purely technical phenomena, high frequency energies, invisible to our eyes? Or emanations of a divine presence. Manifestations from the Spirit world. Or both?

And do we realize that the smallest particles, like the atoms, photons and electrons, and the larger organisms of the “Nano World”, show an uncanny resemblance to phenomena on a much larger scale. Like the cells, genes and DNA strings of our body. Or our chakra system. Or, on an even larger scale, the earth magnetic field, our solar system, the Milky Way and even the Universe. They are all shaped like Torus fields, the universal building blocks of life.

And do we, humans, realize that we ourselves are made up of these particles and energies? And that we have a divine spark inside of us, our Spirit. And that we posses an immortal soul.

How privileged we are to be alive now, in this time. And how wonderful it is to be on the planet Earth and to experience first hand all these magic moments and mind-blowing discoveries.
